Over the weekend of April 6th, 7th & 8th Westfield Carousel Shopping Centre in Perth treated shoppers to a fashion festival, showcasing the latest looks for autumn/winter 2013.
So what’s on offer?
Rich & muted colour palettes.
Sumptuous fabrics.
The baroque look.
Leather finishes.
The military trend with lot’s of Khaki (deemed the new neutral)
Ponte skirts & pants (ponte being the fabric which has incredible stretch equaling great comfort).
Ankle boots.
Fabulous treated jeans such as the waxed finish (can machine wash if you turn inside out) which gives you a subtle shimmer.
Metallic touches & embellishments from flecks, spangles to studs (if none
come attached to your clothing you can add it via accessories).
Floral & lace prints.
Shades of blue from emerald to indigo (by the way did you know that emerald has been voted the colour of the year?)
They also showed us plenty of layering ideas so you can adapt your fashion to the changing weather.
Visit http://www.westfield.com.au/au/be-inspired for more info on the latest looks available & where to get them, also keep a look out for further fashion showcases at your nearest Westfield Centre.
I will be posting a photo book on Living In Style’s facebook page so make sure you check back soon to see a full collection of photos taken during the fashion festival.
