This is my take on what’s hot this coming spring summer 2019 for fashion trends. There’s plenty for everyone really! Bright colours, mint, lavender, animal print, florals, lace, retro styles, relaxed cuts. This is going to be a fun season to mix & match!

Whether you are wanting to glam it up, take a hippy dip, go street smart casual, have fun with colour, let out your wild child or go retro chic;  you will be able to do so over spring/summer 2019.

Colour is everywhere! Bold, bright tones bring a happy vibe to any closet. Softer sorbet colours and pastel tones are also huge; try hues such as lavender or mint. Neutral tones bring a fresh earthy take and options are from beige nudes to white.

Prints bring the amazing collection of colours together in one garment. Animal prints go wild and come in all sorts of colours, there’s lot’s of patchwork and scarf pattern, florals go from the delicate to the bold. Mix a patterned piece with a neutral or plain coloured item, so your outfit will pop!

So what are some essential pieces to add to your wardrobe? A slip skirt is a really fun addition and can be dressed up or down. A bold puff shoulder will give an edge to your outfit. Patchwork denim is a great take on the ripped jean!

Want more fasion fun for your wardrobe? A dress in a pretty floral is the new spring summer classic or add a bit of feminine twist with a soft puff sleave. If floral isn’t your thing, then try a tie died maxi dress.

When it come to fashion philosophy my advice is to wear what you love! If you like a trend, then go for it! As long as you know the right shape for your body and the colours that best suit your complexion, you can’t go wrong. Buying into a fashion trend is only worth while if it is going to make sense to your style aesthetic!

There is plenty to enjoy for spring summer 2019, hope you have fun exploring the options!
